Dr Who star splash lands in Cardiff
Feb 29 2008 Western Mail
TIMELORD David Tennant was finally beaten by an invader from the skies – he was caught in a torrential downpour while filming the new Doctor Who series.
Tennant, 36, was drenched as he stepped out of the Tardis on the set of the new series of the sci-fi drama.
Tennant, who plays the time-travelling doctor in the hit BBC One show, still managed to cut a dapper figure in his pinstripe suit as he signed autographs for fans who braved the weather.
Tennant was filming a scene in a Cardiff suburb from the next series due to be screened this spring.
Catherine Tate, who plays Dr Who’s assistant in the new series, which hits screens next month, was also on set but kept well out of the rain.
Aww, how sweet of David to sign autographs out in the rain. He's so nice!
